that keeps
working.

§ 01Method

Most people are sold a product and then handed a goal. I work the other direction — name the job the money has to do, then choose the instrument. The guaranteed column first, every time.

Instruments · 01 — 05
§ 02Index

Five ways to make
money do two jobs.

Not sure which — start here
01

VMAX for business owners

Valoram program · LLC borrower · 10 yr · 5%

A fully underwritten policy held in an irrevocable trust, coordinated with a commercial loan to your LLC. Program materials state no out-of-pocket cost to place the policy; the LLC still repays the loan at 5% over ten years. $250K+ income, CPA review, 60–90 days of underwriting.

02

Indexed universal life

Accumulation · 0% floor · capped upside

Permanent coverage credited off a market index. The design — funding level, death benefit option, staying under the MEC line — matters more than the carrier's logo. Built to the guaranteed column.

03

Participating whole life

Certainty · 4 guarantees · dividends not guaranteed

Level premium, guaranteed cash value, guaranteed death benefit, guaranteed endowment. Dividends where the carrier is a mutual, buying paid-up additions that compound both columns for decades.

04

Annuities & lifetime income

Income · MYGA · FIA · SPIA · DIA

Turn a rollover, a sale, or years of saving into a payment that does not stop while you are alive. Every recommendation documented to California's best-interest standard.

05

Final expense coverage

Protection · simplified issue · ages 50–85

A small permanent policy issued on health questions alone, sized to the funeral and the bills that follow it, paid to a named beneficiary outside probate within days.

Context · sourced
§ 03The market
51% of U.S. adults own any life insurance; ~100 million say they need it or need more. LIMRA · 2025 Barometer
$89B paid to beneficiaries in 2024, plus $110B in annuity benefits. ACLI · 2025 Fact Book
$464B placed in annuities in 2025 — a fourth straight record. LIMRA · 2025
4M+ Americans turning 65 each year — the “Peak 65” wave. LIMRA · Feb 2026
Process · I — IV
§ 04Approach

Four conversations,
not a sales call.

California holds every life and annuity recommendation to a best-interest standard — care, disclosure, conflict of interest, documentation. This is what that looks like in practice.

I

Discovery

Twenty to thirty minutes on what the money is for, who depends on it, and what you already own.

II

Design

I model the structure and shop it across carriers. The guaranteed column next to the projected one, side by side.

III

Underwriting

Application, exam or accelerated path, carrier follow-up. I handle the back-and-forth and tell you where it stands.

IV

Annual review

Funding, beneficiaries, loan balances, in-force performance — once a year, for as long as you hold the contract.

Who you are working with
§ 05The agent

I own the instruments I write.

I came to insurance from years of commission sales, where the only thing that survives is being straight with people. I hold a California resident life license and non-resident licenses in Texas, Virginia, South Carolina, Michigan and Ohio, and I place business with multiple carriers — no quota to feed, no house product to defend.

My family’s policies are funded the way I would fund yours. I will show you the guaranteed column before the projected one, and if nothing I place fits, I will tell you that too.

A private conversation · no fee · twenty minutes

Bring me the goal.
I will bring the carriers.

A first conversation runs about twenty minutes and costs nothing. Tell me what the money has to do; I will come back with the structure, the carriers, and the guaranteed numbers.
